Restaurant Catedral del Vi

The old olive hall, situated in the left nave, currently houses the Restaurant la Catedral del Vi. Fran López, chef of Villa Retiro Restaurant and Xerta Restaurant, each one star Michelin establishments, is the guiding light of the restaurant.

Opening Hours

Open Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays from 13:30 to 16:00 hrs. On other days the restaurant opens for special group bookings for lunch and supper.

Signature cuisine under the guiding hand of Chef Fran López. Cuisine prepared with predominantly seasonal and proximity produce.

Our set meal

Our set meal comprises 4 starters to share + main course to be chosen from 7 options + dessert + bread, wine and water for just 26€/person. Our children’s meal comprises 2 dishes + dessert for 15 €/child or 1 dish + dessert for 8.50 €/child.

Starters (tasting menu format):

✓ Goat cheese salad with pickled vegetables.
✓ Crunchy roll with prawns and mushrooms.
✓ Grilled octopus with candied potatoes and smoked paprika mayonnaise.
✓ Potato parmentier with truffle and egg cooked at low temperature.

Mains (to choose):

✓ Oven-roasted pork knuckle with garnish.
✓ Duck confit with seasonal fruit.
✓ Stuffed pork cheek, pumpkin puree and ham diced
✓ Stuffed jowl of pork, summer vegetables and cubed ham.
✓ Eel “Suquet” (Eel in its own juice).
✓ Sirloin steak with garnish (extra cost 7€)
✓ Young lamb at low temperature with baked potatoes (extra cost 7€)
