Elaboració

Vineyard: 80-year-old vineyards.
Winemaking: Carefully selected overripe grapes from the vineyard to concentrate sugars and aromas. Once hand-harvested, the grapes are gently pressed to extract an expressive must, to which high-quality wine alcohol is added to naturally stop fermentation. This process preserves the grape’s natural sugars, resulting in a sweet, unctuous, and aromatic wine with intense notes of white fruit, honey, and wildflowers. After stabilization and resting in tanks, the mistela is bottled, preserving all its freshness and authenticity, a true reflection of Terra Alta’s Mediterranean character.

Tasting note: Brilliant golden color with amber reflections, anticipating its richness and concentration. On the nose, intense and seductive aromas of ripe white fruit, dried apricot, candied orange peel, and delicate notes of honey, wildflowers, and a subtle touch of nuts. On the palate, sweet and enveloping, with a silky texture and a perfect balance between sweetness and freshness. The finish is long, aromatic, and persistent, leaving a pleasant sensation of warmth and harmony.
Pairing: This Garnacha Blanca Mistela is the perfect companion for traditional desserts such as fruit tarts, crema catalana, “pastissets,” or caramelized nuts. Its balanced sweetness and intense aromas also pair beautifully with blue cheeses and foie gras, enhancing their flavors with elegance. Ideal as a dessert wine or to close a special meal, served slightly chilled.
